He is survived by: his parents, Iedidia Goje and Eunice Van Aarde; his sister Gianna Van Aarde; and his aunts and uncles, Diane Williams, Claudia Bestenbier, Christopher Van Aarde, Theophilus "Harvey" Van Aarde, Nathaniel "Tannie" Van Aarde and Leon Van Aarde. He is also survived by the youngest of 22 grandchildren.
