She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie L. Travis and Tinnie Mae Crouse Travis; her son Bruce Philyaw; her siblings, Bill, Floyd, JD Travis, Linda Putnam, Shirley Ballard, Kay Bumgarner, Virginia Cash and Barbara Travis; her grandson Nicholas Parker; her great grandchildren, Orion Hale and Nicholas Travis; her great great grandchild Jasper Shook; and her close friend Samuel J. Stewart, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Damon Reinhardt of Maiden, Gary Reinhardt (Karen) of Mocksville, Angela Parker (William) of Maiden, Anita Spry of Newton, Cheryl Houston (Paul) of Mississippi and Virgie Stanley of Taylorsville.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Burke Mortuary Chapel (1101 E Maiden Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Maiden City Cemetery (211 E Cemetery St, Maiden, NC 28650).
