It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Theodore Shrum (Maiden, North Carolina), who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles S. Shrum and Lillie Bumgarner Shrum; and his siblings, Marshall Shrum, David Shrum, Alma Fish, Benny Shrum and Cecil Shrum.
He is survived by: his wife N. Louise Shrum; his children, Burl Shrum (Cindy) of Lincolnton and Elizabeth Snyder (Don) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Casey Snyder (Bethany) and Jennifer Lee (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Meredith Lee, Connor Lee, Jack Snyder and Ben Snyder.
