He is survived by: his wife Eva Schmidlin; his sons, Dale (Patsy) of Thomasville, NC, Jim (Kim) of Dunn, NC, John of Lenoir, NC and Steven (Janell) of Hampstead, NC; and his grandchildren, Ben, Jay, Elizabeth, Rachel, Morgan, Reagan, Ashlyn, Mary Kate, Kaitlyn and Quinn. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
