He is survived by: his wife Diane Beal; his children, Chris Beal (Rebecca) and Emily Beal of Lenoir; his brothers, Don Beal (Clydie) of Conover and Steven Beal (Robin) of Conover; his stepchildren, Donald Eugene Eckerd (Karen) and Vickie Diane Inscoe; and his stepgrandchildren, Nathan Eckerd (Ashlynn), Ryan Eckerd and Lillian Jenkins.
