It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Jo Sigmon Carpenter of Maiden, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho Eugene and Georgia Ruth Sigmon; her husband Blair Thomas Carpenter; and her siblings, Rowell Sigmon, Ocoee Simpson and Angela Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Carpenter of Maiden and Ted Carpenter (Martha) of Maiden.
