She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaither "Cobb" Beal and Mary Hovis Beal; her son William Dennis Lavander, II; and her brothers, Kenneth, Darrell and Larry Beal.
She is survived by: her husband William Russell Lavander; her daughter Sandy Ray; her brother Gene Beal (Sheila) of Maiden; her granddaughter Kristen Garbarino of Newton; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Armstrong (Mike) and Drucella Watson (Bryan).
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lawings Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery (4637 Lawing Chapel Church Rd, Maiden, NC 28650).
