She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Futrell and India Shephard Futrell; and her husband Jimmy Love Whaley. She is survived by: her son Jimmy Whaley of Rose Hill; her grandsons, John Harper, Elijah Whaley and Juan Tamymo; and her sister JoAnn Cole of Rose Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
