It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Edward Horne of Magnolia, North Carolina, who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie T. Horne and Ethie Kennedy Horne; his wife Mary Magdline Foss Horne; and his brothers, Eugene Horne and Earl Horne.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary H. Raynor (Stephen) of Clinton; his stepdaughter Gloria Ferguson (James) of Vass; his siblings, Thomas Horne of Washington, NC, Eleanor Faye Fox (Gary), Geraldine Horton and Ora Lee Cottle of Beulaville; his grandchildren, Melissa Maddy of Joseph Ezzell, III, Greg Ferguson, James Ferguson, III and Sharon Holder; and his great grandchildren, Sierra Ezzell Sammie Ezzell, Tony Holder and Savannah Ferguson.
