In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John Wesley leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John Wesley may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Sanders and Emma Jane Carlton; and his wife Dorothy M. Sanders. He is survived by: his children, Cathfeen James (Willie), Amelia Whitmore (Michael Jr.), John A. Sanders, Jamie Sanders (Amy) and Julius Sanders (Rashaunda); and his siblings, Lorenzo Sanders (Thelma) and Ruth Powell (Jesse). He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
