We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Jean Warren Merritt Godwin (Magnolia, North Carolina), born in Cumberland, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Warren and Eva Moore Warren; her former husband Howard Merritt of Delway; and her husband Tommy Godwin of Dunn. She is survived by: her children, Kathy M. Cherry (Bill) of Topsail Beach and Dail Merritt (Debbie) of Holly Ridge; and her stepchildren, Locke Godwin (Mary Sue) and Mary Sue Barbour (Wayne). She is also survived by eight step grandchildren and ten step great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions will be welcome at Trinity Methodist Church, or First Baptist Church of Dunn.
