He was predeceased by: his parents, William Medaris and Doris Medaris; and his son Paul Medaris of Boynton Beach, FL.. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Ward Medaris of Maggie Valley; his daughter Elaine Medaris Brown (Mike Brown) of Fuquay Varina, NC; his grandsons, Keegan and Andrew Brown; his nephew Tanner Ward; his brother Harry; and his sister-in-law Eddie Sue Ward.
