With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willadean Mashburn in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on May 18, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gwen Day and Essie Keith Day; her husband Dillard Mashburn; her son Charles Owenby; and her grandson Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Gwyn James (Jerry) of Brevard, Azalee Mashburn of Waynesville, Jean Roberts of Florida, Syretta Bishop (Mike) of Clyde, Gail Dunham (Frank) of Clyde, Donna Medford (Bruce) of Clyde, Junior Mashburn (Frances) of Waynesville and Stanley Mashburn (Jackie) of Waynesville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
