He is survived by: his wife Faye Hobbs Smith; his children, Sheri Mason (Logan), Sierra Vasquez (Edgar), William Smith (Bobby Jo) and Joseph Griggs; his siblings, Florine Efird (Gene), Midget Johnson (Ronnie) and Jimmy Smith; and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Allison Smith, Leola, Logan Mason, Andrea and Christopher Vasquez.
