He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Leatherwood and Jimmie Bradley Leatherwood of Maggie Valley. He is survived by: his wife Betty Brackett Leatherwood; his daughter Amy Leatherwood Carver (Justin); his grandchildren, Jake Carver and Josie Carver; his brothers, Charles Leatherwood (Brenda) and Bob Leatherwood (Lisa); and his siblings-in-law, Delores Marcus, Lynn Mull and Randy Brackett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
