She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sheehan and Gertrude Setzer Sheehan; her husband Charles E. Moody; and her brother James Douglas Sheehan. She is survived by: her son Jason Moody (Tyla); her granddaughter Madison Leigh Moody; her siblings, John Sheehan and DeBrada Sutton; and her great-niece Kalista Greenarch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shepherd's Table at Maggie United Methodist Church or Maggie Valley Fire and Rescue.
