We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2023, at the age of 86, Paul Thomas Mehaffey of Maggie Valley, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Conley Mehaffey; his wife Christine Rathbone Mehaffey; his sister Eva Jo Blackburn; and his half-sister Corrine Grasty. He is survived by: his children, Jack Mehaffey (Alana) and Lisa Nelson (Tracy); his grandsons, Dillon Nelson (Sam) and Jesse Nelson; his great grandchild Ayla Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Blackburn and Ilene Ingle (Leon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
