She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin and Mary Eliza James Tant; her sisters, Dorothy Miron Tant Hammett, Frankie Joyce Tant Watterson and Cherry Maie Tant; and her brothers-in-law, Lewey Clayton Hammett and William Michael Watterson.

She is survived by: her husband David Alan Richardson; her sons, Benjamin David Richardson (Leah) and Matthew Tant Richardson (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Elise Paige Richardson, Iris Esme Richardson and Charlie Banks Richardson; and her nieces and nephews, Miron Jeanne Hammett Beirnes, Lewey Clayton Hammett Jr., Michael Kenneth Watterson, William Kevin Watterson and Mary Angela Watterson Elmore.
