He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Everett and Nora Mae Donica Halstead; and his grandsons, Justin and Jeremy Halstead. He is survived by: his significant other Sandra Halstead of Maggie Valley; his children, Jennifer Halstead of Maggie Valley, John Halstead II of Maggie Valley, Jody Halstead (Tina) of Waynesville and Jason Halstead of Flagstaff, Arizona; and his siblings, Sheri Kosmicki (Steve) of Lakeland, Florida, Bonnie Phelps (Gary) of Lakeland, Florida and Larry Halstead (Melba) of Kentucky. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
