It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Hoag Irby of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, born in Davenport, Florida, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoag and Gladys Estes Hoag; her husband Milton Wade Irby; her sister Barbara Starken; and her niece Joann Barnard.
She is survived by: her children, Marian Stevens (Johnny) of Hopkinsville, KY, Barbara Williams (Steve) of Port Charlotte, FL, Milton Irby of Lake Alfred, FL and Mark Irby (Nicole) of Winter Haven, FL; and her niece Sandra Sampson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
