With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Inez Nix Mitchell of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, who passed away on June 17, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Charlie Nix; her husbands, Cliff Cooper, Howard Baker and Clyde Mitchell; and her sister Christine Nix.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ann Cooper-Baker of Maggie Valley and Russell Dean Cooper (Amy) of Hickory. She is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three nephews and one niece.
