She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Harrison and Hester Early Herron; her husband Willie Harris; her son Charles Harris; and her siblings, Hurbert Herron, Odell Herron, Dora Roland and Irene Watkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vera Norton (Kemmer) of Canton and Brenda West (Mike) of Canton; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Harris of Canton; and her grandchildren, Alan Mathes of Horseshoe, Roger Mathes of Canton, Ronnie Mathes of Waynesville, Patty Maynard of Asheville, Debbie Whitehead of Canton and Carla Brookshire of Clyde. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren; along with several beloved nieces and nephews.
