It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Franklin Rich of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Rich and Wilma Caldwell Rich; his wife Billie Rich; and his great grandchild Trevor Burgess. He is survived by: his children, Vicky Burgess (Wayne) and Butch Rich (Coleen); his siblings, Grace McGaha, Sally Clark, Alice Malady, Thomas Rich and Dwight Rich; his grandchildren, Tim Burgess (Libby), Tiffany Taylor (Scott), Trent Burgess (Andi) and Ken Rich; his great grandchildren, C. J., Alex Rich, Hannah Cioce (Nick), Camille, Declan, Everett, Finley and Griffin Taylor; and his great great grandchildren, Liam Bullock and Brooks Cioce. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
