With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene B. Thomason in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lawson Thomason and Celia Lindsay. He is survived by: his wife Fannie Ethel Reeves Thomason; his children, Joyce O'Neil (Tracy) and Ronald Thomason (Denise); his grandchildren, Travis Thomason (Emily), Makayla Hammond (Atley) and Makenzie Myers (Colby); and his great grandchildren, Forrest, Bo, Silas, Caroline, Catherine, Emilia, Henry Thomason, Wake, Scotlynn Kate Hammond, Graham and Lydia Myers.
