It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances C. Noland (Maggie Valley, North Carolina), who passed away on June 2, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Lyman Clark; her husband Jack Ben Noland; her brothers, Ted Clark, Hubert Clark and Jerry Clark; her grandchildren, Teddy Wells and Holly Williams; and her sister Denny of Canton.
She is survived by: her parent Bonnie Massie Clark; her daughters, Louise Smith, Leo of Arden, Sharon Noland of Maggie Valley, Elena McCracken, David of Greer, Jackie Henson of Canton and Linda Barnes; and her siblings, Barbara Burnette, Ruth McElreath of Candler, Joe Haney of Candler, Trixie Haney of Candler, Gerald of Candler and Ned Clark of Hickory. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
