He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Brown McIntyre; and his brothers, George and Jimmy Lee Meeks. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Moon Meeks; his children, Donna Harris (James) and Donald Meeks, Jr. (Samantha); and his grandchildren, Breanna, Trevor, Caleb, Landon, Jolynn and Angela.
