She was predeceased by: her sisters, Pamela June Richards and Judy Lynn Broms. She is survived by: her parents, Harry Carpenter and Betty Hyatt Carpenter; her son Anthony Messer of Spruce Pine; her brother Wally Bryson (Tammy) of Edneyville, NC; and her aunt Linda Hyatt of Waynesville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Smoky Mountain Chapel (3264 Broad St, Clyde, NC 28721). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
