We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2022, at the age of 89, Betty Gentry Sutton in Maggie Valley, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Dolph Gentry; her husband Hilliard Sutton; and her siblings, Fred, Howard, Sam, James Robert Gentry, Letha Fie, Joann Rich and Evelyn Lowe.

She is survived by: her daughter Patsy Sutton Lokerson (Arlie); her grandchildren, Shannon Woody (Ann), Arlie Lokerson II (Shana) and Lynn Franklin; and her great grandchildren, Eli, Cody, Tucker, Sara and Jessie. She is also survived by nephews and 2 special nieces.
