With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Nell Ferguson of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lee and Estelle Hyde Setzer Allison; her husband Robert Lee Ferguson, Sr.; her brothers, Bobby Setzer, Joel Setzer and Edwin Allison; and her son-in-law Arthur Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Ann Richardson of Dellwood, Emily Elizabeth Ferguson of Dellwood and Robert Lee Ferguson, Jr. (Karleen) of Ellijay, Georgia; her brother Leroy Setzer of Waynesville; and her grandchildren, David Alan Ferguson, Robert Lee Ferguson, III (Meredith), Hope Ferguson Loeb (Seth), Benjamin Luke Ferguson (Ansley) and Stephen Murray Ferguson. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and two on the way; many nieces, nephews and friends; and her special friend.
