She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Cogdill and Lavada Cogdill; her husband Donald Moody; and her siblings, Mary Alice Nelson, Ethel Matney and James Cogdill.
She is survived by: her children, George (Cathy) of Mooresville, NC, Lloyd (Rebecca) of Colorado Springs, CO, Floyd (Debbie) of Wichita, KS, E. J. (Beth) of Waynesville, NC and Adonna Wayman (David) of Waynesville, NC.; and her siblings, Lucille Smith, Phil Cogdill (Doris) and Robert Cogdill (Mary). She is also survived by six grandsons, three granddaughters, ten great-grandchildren.
