He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer June Alderman and Sallie Beasley Alderman. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia White Alderman; his daughter Amy Alderman Griffin (Kevin); his grandson Noah Thomas Griffin of Madison; and his siblings, Rhonda Brim (Cecil) of Mayodan and John Alderman (Ann) of Burlington.
