He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde William McPeters and Gertrude Louise Holcombe McPeters; his wife Sheila Gail Teague McPeters; and his siblings, Ronald Lewis McPeters and Brenda Robinson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon McPeters Johnson (Dale) of Sylva, NC and Melissa McPeters Herzog (Greg) of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Ashley Smith Jonas (Jonathan) of Utah, Hannah Marie Smith of Candler, NC, Emily Gail Herzog of New York and Ethan Gregory Herzog of Chapel Hill, NC; and his great grandchild Luna Isabella Jonas.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home (1428 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home (1428 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806).
