He was predeceased by: his father Junior Akers Doss; and his wife Deborah Lawson Doss. He is survived by: his mother Josephine White Doss; his children, Joseph Bradley Doss (Rose Ouellette), Billy Hazelwood and Misty Dawn Southern (Jason Lemons); his grandchildren, R. J. Southern (Willow Southern), Josh Southern and Alyvia Southern; and his sisters, Debbie Russell (Eugene) and Melia Doss (Marshall McNeely). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
