He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Plummer Joyce; his children, Tammy Heath (Mike), Tony Joyce (Wendy), Terry Joyce (Tonya) and Cheryl Place (Kerry); his stepchildren, Lisa Potter (Donnie), Tammy McCollum (Jesse) and Junior Throckmorton (Adam); and his siblings, Otis Joyce, Steve Joyce, Roger Joyce, Anise Lester, Linda Thornton, Faye Closson and Martha Ore. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, five step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
