It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Preston Coffey (Madison, North Carolina), who passed away on December 17, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Hershel Coffey; his mother-in-law Jo Lunsford Herron; and his uncle Bruce Phillips. He is survived by: his parent Beatrice Ballard Coffey; his wife Lora Herron Coffey; his siblings-in-law, Carol O'Neal (Gregg) and Ed Herron (Karen); his father-in-law Lew Herron; his aunt Mildred Phillips; his nieces, Amy and Callie Hodge; and his nephew Brett Hodge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
