It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malinda Hopper Lowe of Madison, North Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John V. (Sophonia Hopper) and Malinda; her husband Carl Louis Lowe, Sr.; her siblings, Mary Ann Galloway, Margaret Elaine Roberts and John T. Hopper; her son Raymond Travis Lowe; and her son-in-law Phillip Agerston.
She is survived by: her children, Carl "Larry" Lowe, Jr. and Min; and her siblings-in-law, Sam Lowe (Hester), Deacon Frank Neal, Missionary Lois Glenn and Dorothy. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Perry-Spencer Funeral Home (402 Short Ave, Madison, NC 27025). Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Light Refuge Temple (344 Bethany Rd, Reidsville, NC 27320). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Eden Gardens Cemetery.
