He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Richard Gosnell and Nettie Cook Gosnell; his wife Lela Shelton Gosnell; and his siblings, Freda Belt, Christine Gosnell, Frances Penland, Dana Baker, Willard Gosnell and Bruce Gosnell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Doris Rice and Walter Eugene Gosnell (Kathleen); and his sister-in-law Pamela Gosnell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
