She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Elbert "L. E." Banks and Virgie Beulah Rhea Banks; and her siblings, Willis "Willie" King Banks, Robert Banks, Lawrence Banks, Louise Huey, Bernice Mackey, Theo Wise, Louella Penley, Marietta Cogburn, Marjorie Penley and Louis "Buddy" Banks.
She is survived by: her husband David Lawrence Herron; her daughter Ginger Costa (Michael); her stepson David Lawrence Herron, Jr.; her grandsons, Joseph William Bourne (Jenn Aguirre) and David James Bourne (Emily); her great grandchild Jasper Joseph Bourne; and her sisters, Alice Bowlin and Carol Young. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
