She was predeceased by: her parents, Evan Parker and Clara Parker of Lewis, Kansas.; her husband Ross L. Barnes; her brother Gordon Parker; and her nephew Don Caywood (Donna).
She is survived by: her children, Rod L. Barnes (Susan), Thane E. Barnes (Susan) and Gail B. Houston (Ed); her granddaughters, Melissa Meekin (Brandon), Jenna Spradlin (Brandon), Stephanie Houston and Katherine Medberry (Jake); her great grandchildren, Adrien Martin, Maddox Meekin, Elise Meekin, Jackson Meekin, Carson Spradlin, Easton Spradlin and Hudson Spradlin; her nieces, Shelley, Brittney Allyn (Manny) and Connie Wagner; and her nephew Jay Caywood (Sharon).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Hospice of Rockingham County.
