He is survived by: his sons, Robby Tesnear (Ashley) of Hendersonville, James Tesnear, Jr. of Hendersonville and David Tesnear (Misty) of Hendersonville; his stepdaughters, Amanda Laughter of Mars Hill and Helen Laughter of Mars Hill; and his siblings, Robert Tesnear, Eddie Tesnear, Kevin Tesnear, Judy Broyles, Tina Crisp and Diane Tesnear. He is also survived by two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
