She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Holland and Ida Mae Chaney Holland; her husband James William Brown; her sisters, Doris Swaim and Frances Elizabeth "Liz" Wilkins; and her stepsons, Johnny Shelton and Walter Hill.
She is survived by: her sisters, Alene Hall, Louise Lenderman (Fred), Marie Fox (Gary) and Helen Hatcher (Eddie); her stepson Harold Shelton, Jr. (Dana); and her close friends, Hope Landreth and Sharon Hodges. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
