Harry D. Rice Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harry D. Rice Sr. of Madison, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Harry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Harry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Winston Rice and Christine Runnion Rice; and his siblings, Jane Talley, Gwendolyn Wisecarver and John Winston Rice, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Chuck, Linda, Jon and Harry Jr.; and his sister Gladys Wilson of Colorado. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Harry requested that any donations be made to a favorite charity.
