It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grady Hassel Shelton Jr. (Madison, North Carolina), who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady and Annie; his significant other Joe Anne; and his siblings, Kathleen Wilson, Peggy Martin and Thomas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ray Shelton (Delois) and Faye Short (Floyd); and his children, Rick (Janice), Keith (Donna), Terry (Debra) and Susan Cox (Bob). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
