She is survived by: her husband John Lester Simmons; her children, James Handy, Jr. (April), Tim Handy (Natasha), Candy Foust (Jesse), Gail Handy and Jennifer Lawson; and her siblings, Ronnie Seay and Gerry Mabe. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
