She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight Hobart Wilde and Alice Lilly Bishop Wilde; her husband Henry Ransom Helms; her son Thomas Barry Helms; her grandson Keith; her great grandchild Kevin; and her siblings, Katie Morrow, Betty Hollifield, Minnie Morrow, Emagene Helms, Grace Carolyn Helms, Merle Matthews, Margaret Wooten, Frank Jackson Wilde, John Wilde of Dwight Hobart, Wilde, Jr. and Lester Wilde.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Helms, Charlotte Helms Corn and Joseph Lyle Helms. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
