It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Conrad Zane Cardwell (Madison, North Carolina), who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Conrad Cardwell and Anna Ruth Grogan Cardwell; and his niece Abigail Cardwell. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Cardwell; his children, Mandy Arnold (Jim Martin) of Mayodan, Brian Cardwell (Tiffany) of Burlington and Leigh-Ann Wilson (Ryan) of Belews Creek; his grandchildren, Kaytlin Raines (Billy), Austin Barnes, Harleigh Arnold, Ava, Reagan Cardwell, Landon and Connor Wilson; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Mia, Piper, Abel Raines and Oaklynn Mae; his brother David Cardwell (Sherry) of Staunton; his nephew Jason; his aunt Willodae Smith (Cinde Iacovacci); and his pet Lily.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Mayodan or to the Northwest Rockingham Fire Department.
