She was predeceased by : her husband Wesley L. "Bubba" Edwards; her son David Paul Hudson; her siblings, Gracie Booth, Marion Thomas Hamm, Robert E. Hamm, Annie Belle Hudgins and Ruby Lee Hamm; and her sister-in-law Edith Salmon.
She is survived by : her children, Selma Jean Skinner and Jimmy G. Hudson, Jr. (Donna); her sisters, Nancy Faye Thompson, Brenda Caulder and Linda Marie Salmon; her sister-in-law Caroline Edwards; and her grandchildren, Lawrence Lee Skinner, Jr., Katherine Denise Brown, Holly Rebecca Shauf and Dawn Diven. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
