He is survived by: his children, William R. Banks Jr. (Edith), James Banks, Debora Banks, John Banks (Marilyn), Gregory Banks (Karen) and Dexter Banks; his grandchild Arketa Banks (Latora); his siblings-in-law, Frances Worthy, Eugene Taylor, John Taylor and Lorry Taylor; and his caregiver Mildred Perry. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
