It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jane Dieckmann (Macon, North Carolina), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lee F. Baker and Dora Mabel Wilharm Baker; her siblings, Robert Lee Baker and Patty Jean Schwestka; and her son David Lee Dieckmann.

She is survived by : her husband Merwin Richard Dieckmann; her children, Mark of Warner Robins, GA, Ann Forman of Prospect Heights, IL, Jane Hanrahan (Johnny) of Kinston, NC and Nancy Ramsey of Greenback, TN.; her brother Richard Baker (Jan); her grandchildren, Morgan Lee Lovejoy, Joshua Alan Ramsey of Greenback, TN and Suzanne Jane Lee Forman of Prospect Heights, IL; and her parents-in-law, Beverly Kaiser (Truman), Janet Nieman and Mary Ann Obenour (Jerry). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
