She is survived by: her husband Ranny Ferrell; her children, Crystal James of Lucama and Donny Nichols of Macclesfield; her grandchildren, Skylar, Dawn, Austin and Kira James; her great grandchild Tamia Battle; and her mother Glorice Langston Edwards of Elm City.
